The current “Vita Plus” project concerns the development of a platform for analysis of the potential of Bulgarian business for the introduction of bio-based technologies in industrial sectors operating in the bioeconomy.
The project is implemented by a transdisciplinary team of 22 people from all academic ranks – PhD students, assistant professors, associate professors and professors at the University of Plovdiv Paisii Hilendarski .

The project is implemented by researchers from the following faculties: Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physics and Technology, Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Education and the UP Academic Campus at the town of Smolyan.
The scientific tasks of the “Vita Plus” team are divided into four teams for implementation, on the grounds of two main features – 1) scientific tasks in integrated fields according to the competence of the expertise; and 2) the connection of the transdisciplinary academic research:
